After an uncertain year, we took a deep dive into the stats from the past 12 months to find the favourites, outliers and wilds cards at this year's tournament. Methodology

Our algorithm and predictions are powered by over 70 different performance indicators from each player selected to play at Euro 2020, with statistics covering both domestic and international action from seasons preceding the championships and an emphasis on form ahead of them.

To improve the certainty of any predictions, the algorithm factors a player’s level of opposition, their form over 365 days prior to the tournament, per 90-minute statistics, and national team influence (minutes played and performance during international matches).
