Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Manage acquisition teams across PPC, SEO and Display/Programmatic, setting achievable targets and the performance management of the team.
  • Manage and support direct and cross-functional acquisition teams in planning, execution and optimisation of brand activity.
  • Collaborate and work with Heads of Brand to define, manage and deliver commercial objectives for each area according to Brand strategy.
  • Ensure high quality and consistent service delivery across the whole digital marketing team, with a rigorous approach to managing work schedules, reporting, and managing change.
  • Ensure company policy and performance management are executed as intended and develop future stars within the organisation.
  • Ensure with BI that relevant reporting is in place to effectively measure the performance of all areas of acquisition and brand ensuring any areas of substandard performance are rectified in a timely manner.
  • Establish weekly and monthly reporting and share with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate and work with brand leads to define, manage and accomplish commercial objectives for each area.
  • Ensure acquisition, above the line and marketing budgets are managed effectively.
  • Close monitoring of acquisition performance, ensuring that volume expectations are met with expected return on investment from new players.
  • Work closely with internal brand teams and external creative and media agencies to effectively manage above-the-line media budgets.
  • Key member of the management team, with input into agency direction and strategy.

Person Specification, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Strong working experience in digital marketing roles.
  • Experience managing, coaching and developing people and teams.
  • Digital expert with outstanding leadership and relationship management skills.
  • Extensive and up-to-date technical knowledge of the full range of digital marketing services, including SEO, content marketing, on and off-page optimisation, link building, social media, email marketing, PPC, & conversion optimisation.
  • The ability to blend these digital services and skills to create the most effective digital strategy & campaigns for multiple brands.
  • Knowledge of marketing and web analytics tools such as Google Ads, SEMRush and Google Analytics.
  • User experience knowledge and optimisation of customer experience funnels and landing pages.
  • Practical skills in multivariate experiments, A/B testing and email marketing.
  • Updated on new technologies and the latest trends in digital marketing.
  • Hands-on acquisition and performance marketing experience.
  • Excellent written and reporting skills.
