Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Support the International Business Compliance Manager with ensuring compliance is being adhered to throughout the business.
  • Keep abreast of developments in the international remote gambling industry.
  • Ensure that the relevant and key stakeholders are well informed of current licensing requirements, future intentions, rules on marketing and advertising and that they continue to be engaged in all compliance activities.
  • Analyse current processes to define areas of improvement..
  • Accountable for providing advice and guidance about international regimes and the regulatory landscapes of jurisdictions BetVictor operate or intend to operate in and assist in finding creative solutions to obstacles.
  • Assist is advising commercial teams on achieving commercial objective in a regulatorily compliant manner.
  • Support and develop our policies, processes and procedures, whilst ensuring they are communicated to relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to tailor approach across numerous jurisdictions.
  • Support regulatory reporting requirements and external contact for all International licences.
  • Assist with construction and submission of consultations and licence applications to gambling regulators and government bodies.
  • Support the business in the undertaking of periodic compliance audits.
  • Support future market entry requirements.
  • Work in collaboration with the wider compliance function and relevant business areas to ensure BetVictor is best placed to operate in new or established markets.
  • Work closely with the International Business Compliance Manager to ensure that the processes being undertaken are aligned with supporting SOPs and policies, and regulatory guidance/legislation is complied with.

  • Compliance, Product, Marketing, Legal, Operational Excellence, Finance and Commercial.

Person Specification, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience in regulatory compliance, ideally in the remote gaming or a strong academic background (e.g. degree in law, finance, accounting and banking).
  • Organised and professional.
  • Flexible and reactive to change.
  • A genuine self-starter able to spot opportunities and maximise potential.
  • A strong communicator, with extraordinary interpersonal skills.
  • Confident in liaising with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  • Able to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Able to keep the overall objective in mind.
  • Able to handle pressure.
  • Fluent in English (additionally languages will be considered favourably).

The successful candidate will have experience in regulatory compliance ideally in the remote gaming sector and preferably with a sound knowledge of international gambling regulations.

The candidate will be a self-starter, with good communication skills (both in terms of receiving and expressing) and be comfortable with forming relationships with colleagues at all levels throughout the organisation.
