Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Seeks out and actively influences the creative team by keeping up with the latest trends (music, politics, culture, competitors) and demonstrating how this translates in creativity.
  • Creates holistic ideas and executions that build on BetVictor's Brand's world and offers a unique point of difference through using all aspects of the brand's visual, verbal, and visceral behaviours.
  • Understands the roles of the Creative Team (and wider Creative Studio) and utilises the right people effectively to deliver timely creative solutions.
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of how to connect brand strategy to creative work.
  • Creates campaignable ideas across multiple touchpoints.
  • Brings the brand to life through a variety of brand assets.
  • Designs to a high aesthetic level.
  • Leads multiple creative projects.
  • Collaborates with and uses the "client's" knowledge as part of the wider team.
  • Actively offers ideas and opportunities to other teams.
  • Strong mentorship skills, mentoring team and the studio.
  • Inspires others to take personal responsibility for own work and personal development.
  • Experience overseeing content for web, mobile, digital advertising, social platforms, and video highly valuable.

  • Directs design briefs & projects from concept to final art.

Person Specification, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Ideally educated to Degree level or equivalent, from a fine arts or design discipline.
  • Experience overseeing content for web, mobile, digital advertising, social platforms and video highly valuable.
  • A confident and impactful communicator, able to clearly explain strategic concepts and goals.
  • Track record of establishment and on-going development of creative teams.
  • A strong understanding of both brand and online performance advertising.
  • Proven experience working as an art director preferable.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing.
  • Demonstrate experience across Brand, planning and creative execution in a digital or e-commerce environment.
  • Has a passion for learning, sharing knowledge and developing individual staff members.
  • Ability to work to work to tight deadlines and short lead-times.
  • Possesses excellent time management skills.
  • Displays strong attention to detail in one’s own work and that of his or her individual team members.
  • Is ambitious, self-motivated and a decision maker.
  • Is able to lead a team of direct reports and influence teams across the wider business.
  • Experience working with multiple brands in a creative environment.
  • Second to none mentorship skills.
