About the Team

Platforms is a young and enthusiastic team responsible for building products and tools that will deliver upon company’s strategic objectives in the areas of Regulatory Compliance and Fraud (RCF), Customer On-boarding, Payments, Marketing and CRM.

About the Role

We’re looking for a rockstar Product Owner to join our Regulatory Compliance and Fraud crew, up for the challenge of implementing (weird) regulatory requirements in a creative manner!

As the RCF Product Owner, you’ll work closely with the Director of Platforms, the Head of Regulatory Compliance and Fraud Products and a wider stakeholder group to define and implement the product roadmap.

You will take ownership of customer-facing and system tools-related developments from your area of expertise.

You’ll contribute to the definition of the overall product strategy, produce business cases, establish requirements, and coordinate product design, roadmaps, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Know the Products inside out – Become the expert in your product area: own the regulatory requirements we’re due to implement in the jurisdictions we operate in, know how the RCF products, features and tools function, and the technical capabilities and limitations of our systems.
  • Regularly review our Regulatory Compliance and Fraud feature products and customer journeys across all our brands and channels and identify friction areas and customer pain points.
  • Maintain Status Quo – Ensure we remain fully compliant in all the jurisdictions, through timely and accurate product development. Maintain a good level of understanding of the Regulatory landscape across all markets.
  • Enable expansion – Analyze regulations, define requirements, and ensure the timely launch of fully compliant products in new regulated markets.
  • See what’s cool out there – Regularly conduct benchmarking exercises to help create innovative and actionable product ideas.
  • Product Design – Together with the project team, define the product and tools intended to satisfy regulations, to address both customer and operational hurdles and to ensure smooth journeys. Ensure that the developments are fully compliant in the jurisdictions they’re intended, that they are in-line with our commercial strategy and can be efficiently supported by our operations team.
  • Do your homework - Incorporate (market, internal) data in your decision-making process. Analyze the impact, identify risks and operational dependencies.
  • Make It Happen - Own product initiatives end-to-end, from idea to business case creation to go live. Ensure the final product matches the specs and meets our quality and usability standards.
  • Evaluate continuously the projects delivered and produce as requested reports detailing performance KPIs.
  • Analyze and design workflows and business processes within the organization relevant to your area.

Person Specification, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • You’re our person if you:
  • Have experience in roles such as Product Owner or similar in a digital business.
  • Possess knowledge of and expertise in the Regulatory Compliance and Fraud framework of the gambling sector across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Can work independently to tight deadlines on multiple projects and take responsibility for ensuring compliance with all necessary requirements.
  • Are analytical and capable of translating license and regulations requirements into product and features deliveries.
  • Have a sound technical understanding of internal system and tools supporting your area of expertise.
  • Love technology and keep up to date with the latest trends.
  • Are comfortable articulating your vision and presenting it, from development to senior management.
  • Are accountable, solution-driven and a team player with excellent collaboration skills.
  • Are proactive, and willing to jump in wherever it’s required to get the job done.
  • Are comfortable with failing and rising stronger with a better outcome.
  • Take pride in your work and your diligent about it.
