Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Responsibility for managing retention budget, taking accountability of spend at a campaign and tier level, ensuring reinvestment is within agreed levels
  • Manages the day-to-day running of talkSPORT BET retention and reactivation promotions and communications, including scheduled, automated, and ad-hoc campaigns across multiple channels
  • Working with product teams and 3rd parties owning bonus spend and customer awards
  • Working with in-house CRM and CMS tools to create and deliver engaging offers across all Customer values
  • Responsible for managing team of executives including training, development, setting processes, and objectives
  • Working closely alongside our Acquisition teams to ensure smooth journeys for new Customers
  • Through support functions including Engagement, Casino and Sports, optimise all retention campaigns to appeal to a recreational base
  • Ensure relevant reporting is in place to effectively measure the performance of all areas of retention
  • Identify unique opportunities to drive the growth of a new UK brand differentiating from our existing brands
  • Present on campaign performance and be able to demonstrate revenue/behavioral impact to customer base
  • Protecting the Customer and Company through expert understanding of, and adherence to, Company approach to affordability and safer gambling, marketing compliance and the wider Licensing Obligations
  • Have a strong commercial awareness and be able to identify which campaigns drive value and which do not. Taking relevant actions where necessary

Person Specification, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  •  Strong working in online gaming company preferably within CRM team
  • Detailed knowledge of CRM lifecycles/strategies/journeys to ensure optimum retention of database
  • Have a strong sports and commercial awareness and be able to adapt strategy, promotions, communications to the business needs, as well as identify trends and take actions
  • Previous team management experience preferred but not essential
  • Strong leader and communicator who can develop relationships both in own team and across wider business
  • Understanding of UK market and UKGC requirements for promotional activity
  • Highly motivated individual with a drive to deliver growth through promotional and retention activity
