Key Responsibilities / Duties:

You will be a key part of the SEO team working alongside fellow SEO executives, and your output will have a direct impact on the performance of SEO and its role in the overall marketing mix across BetVictor and our B2B brands.

Whilst you will have the full support of the senior leadership team and colleagues across the business, we expect a solid work ethic and the ability to spot what needs doing and get the work completed, measured, and managed. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Conduct keyword research to support brand and non-brand traffic growth.
  • Complete and share weekly and monthly SEO performance reports.
  • Guide the content team to produce SEO-friendly content.
  • Keep up to date with the latest SEO technology, Google updates and industry changes.
  • Define sports and casino growth opportunities for the locale and request content/campaigns.
  • Upload/Update delivered content from either the agency or in-house.
  • Onsite content quality assurance.
  • Internal link optimization, including navigation management.
  • Ensure local SEO budget is spent efficiently.
  • Accountable to reporting on SEO KPIs and commercial metrics and evidence the impact of your work through these KPIs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners and agencies when required.
  • Working with content development, copywriting/editing, and PR & Outreach specialists to ensure marketing content campaigns and large PR driven content are effective from an SEO standpoint.

Person Specification, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation strategies and techniques.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Experience with available SEO tools, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Sitebulb, SEMRush, Majestic and other rank tracking or crawling software.
  • Knowledge of On-page and Off-pages SEO.
  • Ability to set and execute strategies to improve domain authority and organic rankings.
  • Ability to work closely with the wider SEO and marketing teams and independently as needed.
  • Familiar with Google Analytics, Google Webmaster, Google Ads.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of google updates.
  • CMS management experience a benefit.
