Purpose of the role:

Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing, the SEO Manager will take full ownership of strategy & roadmap, including but not limited to onsite optimisation, keyword research and content on the site. This role requires a deep understanding of SEO in its entirety, playing into the full digital marketing mix, from technical, to content to social to PR while working with our content marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Manage the SEO strategy and the external agency to ensure we get maximum ROI
  • In conjunction with the agency and the Acquisition team, provide in-depth technical SEO audits and recommendations
  • Advising team on best practice onsite, content and link building strategies
  • Provide support throughout development and migration of projects
  • In conjunction with the agency, perform keyword research and competitive analysis
  • Track, interpret, and communicate analytics to wider team
  • Work closely with Acquisition team on brand and category prioritisation
  • Own overall SEO insight, reporting and tools, including developing a uniform set of KPIs and measures to ensure we are measuring success effectively and consistently
  • Work with the wider Digital Web team to drive the technical roadmap for SEO, ensuring appropriate prioritisation
  • Work closely with the brand and PR team to ensure appropriate hero content is supporting SEO and appropriate outreach activity
  • Day to day management of the Media agency

  • Agency; ensuring content and best practices are delivered by the Content, Brand & Comms teams
  • Digital Web Teams managing technical roadmap and improving best in class
  • UX & CX teams to make sure designs are considering SEO on every project
  • B2B Ops; Ensuring content quality provided
  • Casino operations; Casino content and promotional cross-sells
  • Sportsbook operations; Sportsbook product and promotions
  • Trading; Price messaging and trending bets
  • Acquisition; Promoted content on social
  • Brand & Creative; Tone of voice & creative content
  • CRM; Customer promotions and communications
  • Compliance; Ensure all communications meet compliance guidelines

Person Specification, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Solid experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript and website administration
  • Good-level proficiency in MS Excel
  • Good communication skills. English is a must. Other languages will be valued
  • Good copywriting and reporting skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Passion for SEO and digital marketing
  • Highly professional and a good team player
  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, and identify and resolve problems
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven atmosphere
  • Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points
  • Highly committed to his/her work with some strong interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and able to work independently
  • Team and deadline oriented
