Week 3 sprung a big surprise in the 6 Nations, with Scotland surprising everyone with a 25-13 win in the last match of the weekend. That leaves Ireland heading the 6 Nations table with 3 wins from 3. They’ll face England in the final week of fixtures in what could be the title decider. Ireland now head the betting at 1/3 to win their 4th 6 Nations trophy. For a little more value, Ireland can be backed at 2/1 to win the Grand Slam. It would be just the 2nd time they’ve won a 6 Nations Grand Slam if they manage it and they’ll be just the 2nd grand slam winners in 6 years. Wales and France are now, realistically out of the running, out to 150/1 and 500/1 respectively. With Italy expected to occupy bottom spot, and still sitting on zero points, the final match of the tournament between Wales and France could well be the decider for who will finish 4th and 5th.
