Considering that the customer who is second on the leaderboard, with a 1470/1 winner from Spain v Portugal that had just four selections, and the number of games left in the tournament, there will be plenty of chances to get yourself on to the top of the leaderboard.
So, we’ve got the inside knowledge of our trading team and put together some #PriceItUp hacks to help you turn £1 into £1 million.
1. Over 3.5 cards doubles the price of your #PriceItUp market
There have already been a few games that have seen a few rough challenges and cards dished out as a result in this World Cup already.
There were 8 cards in Belgium’s 3-0 win against Panama, while Brazil’s 1-1 draw against Switzerland saw four cards – with Neymar targeted by rough treatment from the Swiss defenders.
So backing over 3.5 cards to boost your odds may well be a shrewd option.
2. Over 10.5 corners doubles the price of your #PriceItUp market
In the first 15 matches of this World Cup, there have been 127 corners – an average of just under 8.5 per games.
The average line for corners is 7-11 so you could do a lot worse than backing over 10.5 corners to increase your odds.
3. Switch a particular player to be carded to a particular player to be red carded for a 13 times bigger price
We saw the first red card of the tournament in Japan v Colombia on the final matchday of round 1 and with more on the line as we head into the second round, trends suggest we could see more with nations’ place in the tournament at stake.
Seven of the ten red cards in the 2014 World Cup came in the 20th match or later (out of 64) – and changing a player to be carded to a player to be red carded will give your odds a massive boost.
4. Adding in a selection of first time goalscorer instead of anytime goalscorer will almost double the price of your #PriceItUp market
So far in the World Cup, we’ve seen Cristiano Ronaldo bag a hat-trick against Spain and four other players net braces.
On three of these five occasions, the player has netted the first goal for his team and both Ronaldo and Harry Kane scored the first goal of the match.
Why not increase the value of your #PriceItUp bet by backing a first goalscorer rather than a player to net anytime?
5. Change a particular player to be carded anytime to a particular player to be carded first to increase your odds by 2-3 times
This is a selection that could help you get a better price by making a small tweak to your #PriceItUp bet.
Backing a player to be carded first instead of anytime could be a good tactic, particularly if there aren’t many cards in the match.
6. Pick 1-0 correct score and add in the FAV goalscorer in to more than double your odds
This seems like a great way of boosting your odds by around 1502205cef9de9b6b89ae8741f566ab7f58c50f0e39ac2a}.
Not many of the favourites for the Golden Boot have been banging in the goals yet – but surely it just a a matter of time before the big boys start to shine in Russia.
Adding in the likes of Messi, Ronaldo, Griezmann and Neymar to your #PriceItUp bet when you’ve already got a correct score will make the price much better.
7. Pick 2-0 correct score and add in both goalscorers for a 400-5002205cef9de9b6b89ae8741f566ab7f58c50f0e39ac2a} increase in price
Similar to the above hack, adding in a couple of goalscorers to a #PriceItUp market when you already have selected the correct score will boost your odds significantly.
8. Backing a team to win each half 1-0 instead of a 2-0 full time result doubles your #PriceItUp odds
There’s already been one instance of 1-0 HT, 2-0 FT in this World Cup – in Croatia’s 2-0 win over Nigeria.
It’s well worth looking into this as an option for boosting your #PriceItUp odds in the next round of Group Stage games.
Best of luck with your attempts at topping the leaderboard for #TheMillionPoundBet and turning £1 into £1 million with those #PriceItUp selections…the current winning odds of 3360/1 can be beaten!
