One lucky customer had an early Christmas present on Tuesday when his £1 Canadian landed him a massive £14,408.64 for his £26 stake including a whopping £9,023.60 as a result of our Best Odds Guaranteed.

The punter had winners across all three of the afternoon meetings including a treble on the flat at Wolverhampton climaxed by the win of Ed Walker’s Big Bad Lol (7/4f) in the 3.40 who landed a huge gamble having been backed at 11/2 although there was a 5p Rule 4.

Two of the customer’s winning selections were actually big drifters on the show with Pink Ribbon returned 13/2 having been backed at 7/2 and Richard Fahey’s 195th winner of the year Tatlisu going off at 7/1 from an early price of 7/2.

A Canadian is often referred to in betting parlours as a Super Yankee and this was indeed a Super Bet for our winning customer who would have received “just” £5385.04 had it not been for Best Odds Guaranteed. I hope he has a wonderful Christmas – wonder if he’s ever visited Canada?

Here’s the winning bet in full:
