Two sides booked their Champions League Semi Final places on a dramatic evening. There was also a Premier League ‘six-pointer’ in the fight for survival. We have highlighted the major moves and price changes below.

Ajax live up to giant killer tag

Ajax caused a surprise when beating Juventus 2-1 in Turin to advance 3-2 on aggregate. The Dutch outfit are now just from 28/1 after once again catching the eye with some excellent football.

They now play either Tottenham or Manchester City for a place in the final. But having downed both Real Madrid and Juventus the young Dutch side are showing no signs of fear.

Messi magic ends United’s European adventure

Barcelona turned on the style to dispatch Manchester United 3-0 at the Nou Camp this evening for a comfortable 4-0 aggregate success. The Spanish giants are favourites from 5/2 to lift the Champions League this season and are on course to face Liverpool in the semi final.

Massive win for Bluebirds

Cardiff secured a huge 2-0 victory at fellow strugglers Brighton tonight which has given them a real chance of achieving the great escape in the Premier League this season. The Bluebirds close to within two points of Albion, who do still have a game in hand, and are from 1/25 for relegation still but just 11-4 from 10/1 to survive.

Only already relegated Fulham and Huddersfield have won fewer Premier League points in 2019 than Brighton’s eight. The Seagulls now find themselves  to be relegated back to the Championship.
