Young Boys v Manchester United
Manchester United 2-0
On Tuesday, Manchester United make the trip to Switzerland to face Young Boys and I expect a comfortable start to their Group F fixtures with a 2-0 away win.
Chelsea v FC Zenit
Chlesea to win 2-0
Also on Tuesday, in Group H, reigning champions Chelsea start with a home tie against FC Zenit of St Petersburg. Chelsea are really beginning to look like a complete package and I’m going for them to secure three points here with a 2-0 win.
Manchester City v RB Leipzig
Manchester City to win 4-1
Wednesday sees Manchester City host RB Leipzig in Group A, which at first glance appears to be a tricky tie. However, Leipzig have recently lost their manager Julain Nagelsmann, central defenders Upamecano and Konate and their influential midfielder Sabitzer.
They’ve started their Bundesliga campaign badly and I can’t see anything other than a resounding win for Pep Guardiola’s side here. 4-1 to City is my prediction which is 16/1 at BetVictor.
Liverpool v AC Milan
Liverpool to win 2-0
The other game involving the British teams is also on Wednesday when Anfield hosts Liverpool versus AC Milan in Group B. This is the most difficult Group to predict with the four teams involved having played in 25 European Cup finals between them.
If Liverpool are to get through to the knockout stages it’s vital they get off to a good start and I fancy them to do just that with a 2-0 win.
