After action-packed first-legs, some big teams are on the brink of elimination. BetVictor Brand Ambassador Michael Owen takes a look at the standout games in the Europa League and Europa Conference League.
Rangers v Borussia Dortmund (4-2)
Game to end 1-1
What a result that was for Rangers in Germany. I don’t think anyone saw that coming, they’ve given themselves a real chance of going through. I’d expect Dortmund to play a lot better at Ibrox, but I think Rangers will hold on. I’m going for a 1-1 draw.
Napoli v Barcelona (1-1)
Napoli to win 2-1
Big game here, this should be good. Barca had plenty of chances, Ferran Torres alone could have scored a hat-trick. I think they could regret that. Napoli are strong at home, and it should be a great atmosphere here. 2-1 Napoli.
Bodo/Glimt v Celtic (3-1)
Bodo/Glimt to win 1-0
It was a disappointing result for Celtic last week. They conceded a couple of soft goals, and they didn’t play near their best. Bodo/Glimt are a good side though, and they’ll be hard to beat on their home pitch. The conditions will be difficult for Celtic in Norway, and I can see Bodo/Glimt winning this 1-0.
Randers v Leicester City (1-4)
Game to end 1-1
It was a comfortable win for Leicester against Randers. They looked a level above them in that game. I don’t think they’ll play quite as strong a side in Denmark, but I can’t see them losing.
