Europa League Quarter-finals: Difficult Night For The Gunners

Arsenal take a two-goal lead to Naples on Thursday in the second leg of the Europa League quarter-final, but I feel it will be a difficult night for the Gunners at the Stadio San Paolo.

Chelsea v Slavia Prague

Chelsea have won 10 of their 11 Europa League games so far this season – no English side has ever won 11 games in a European season – and I expect them to make history and comfortably see off the challenge of Slavia Prague back at Stamford Bridge.

Tip: Chelsea to win to nil at 11/10

Napoli v Arsenal

After Arsenal’s first leg success at the Emirates last week Unai Emery has now won 25 Europa League knockout games – more than any other manager – but I feel they will struggle in Naples.

When the sides met in the Champions League Group stages back in the 2013/14 season the home side won both legs 2-0 and it would not surprise me if we saw history repeating itself on Thursday.

Arsenal continue to struggle on the road in the Premier League and they have already lost at both BATE and Rennes in the knockout stages of the competition so far this season.

This is a tie that would not surprise me if it went all the way to extra-time and perhaps penalties.

Tip: Napoli to win at 3/4
