Keylor Navas
What a signing this lad could be for Forest. He’s been a top keeper for a lot of years, and he showed it at the weekend against Leeds. When a player moves to the Premier League at this stage of his career you never quite know what to expect, but Navas looks well up for it. It was a big win for Forest, and he played brilliantly.
Kenny Tete
I thought he was fantastic against Chelsea. He was up against some top players but kept Mudryk and then Sterling quiet. Defensively, a full-back can’t play much better than that. He was strong, quick and composed on the ball.
James Tarkowski
I’ve always liked Tarkowski. He’s a bit of a throwback, old-school centre-half, but I’m sure Dyche will get the best out of him again. He’s always been fantastic in the air and is a real threat at set pieces. There’s not a lot of goals in this Everton side, set pieces will be crucial for them.
Lewis Dunk
I don’t think Lewis Dunk has ever gotten the credit he deserves. He’s been a very good defender for quite a few years now and is playing brilliantly at the minute. Brighton are flying and he’s a big reason why.
Victor Kristiansen
A brilliant debut from this young lad. He’s only just signed for Leicester, but Rodgers has shown a lot of faith in him and put him straight in the side. Based on that performance, he looks like a very good bit of business.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg
Another one that goes under the radar, he was brilliant yesterday. There was a lot of good performances from Spurs but not many were better than Hojbjerg. He was full of energy and did well to create the goal. City never really settled in the game and Hojbjerg’s pressing was a big reason why.
Ruben Neves
That was a superb win for Wolves at the weekend and Ruben Neves was right at the heart of it. I’ve always liked him, and I thought he took his goal very well. We all know how good he is at shooting from distance, but this was one where he timed his run into the box before a lovely touch and finish, fantastic.
James Maddison
I’m a big fan of James Maddison, he’s my sort of player. He’s had a great season and is always such a threat in the final third. He made that goal look easy against Villa and trust me; it wasn’t. If he can keep this form up, I’m sure Leicester will have a good end to the season.
Declan Rice
Another top performance from the West Ham skipper. Declan has a bit of everything in his game, but it’s his leadership and energy that always stand out for me. There’s not many better in this league than Declan Rice, West Ham will be desperate to keep him for as long as possible.
Marcus Rashford
Another week, another Marcus Rashford goal. That was a proper striker’s goal, good positioning and reactions to slot the cross away. I’m enjoying watching this lad at the minute, he’s in brilliant form.
Harry Kane
My star player this week could only be Harry Kane though. Aside from his goal, it was a typically fantastic performance from Harry. His hold-up play and passing were top class, and to break the great Jimmy Greaves record was the icing on the cake. Jimmy was an unbelievable player, it’s an amazing achievement from Harry to beat that record.
