Dean Henderson
To keep a clean sheet is one thing, but to do and get the three points against Liverpool is some achievement. Forest had luck on their side, but this man made some crucial stops, including one world-class save at the end to deny the Reds. He’s in excellent form ahead of the World Cup and his display on Saturday makes him this weeks star man.
Tyrone Mings
He’s come in for criticism at times, but he can be happy with his display here. He looked well up for the battle, more like it from Villa.
Conor Coady
Again, he led his defence superbly. Everton are slowly getting it together, and it’s no surprise to me that this man has become such a key player. A born leader.
Dan Burn
What a result that was for Newcastle. They’re great going forward, but I have to say Dan Burn was the one who impressed me at the back. He reads the game so well, just one of a few that are playing at the top of their game for the Geordies.
Casemiro
That was just as big a goal for Casemiro personally as it was for United. He’s not been as prominent as we thought he’d be, but he certainly enjoyed that goal and will do his confidence no harm at all.
Alex Iwobi
That’s the best I’ve seen Everton play for a while. The fans will be happy, and in Alex Iwobi, they’ve got someone that’s in great form. Two assists on the afternoon is great work by anyone’s standards. It’s good to see the Toffees on the up.
Ryan Yates
What a day Saturday was for the Forest faithful. To a man, they were excellent. Ryan Yates stood out for me though. What a session he put in; he really deserved the win.
Miguel Almiron
This lad is playing fantastic. Another goal for him, he really can’t miss at the moment. There are a few Newcastle players that are catching my eye just now and it goes without saying that he is one of them.
Erling Haaland
There’s not much to say that hasn’t already been said. There’s just no stopping him. He’s on his way to mopping up all records before him and I honestly don’t think anyone can stop him.
Danny Ings
What a win for Villa. They were great right from the first kick, more of what you expect from this side. Danny bagged a double, which is great for his confidence. He’s always been a good striker, so hopefully, he’ll build on that going forward.
Jamie Vardy
What is it they say, class is permanent? Well, you can certainly say that about this man. He’s come in for criticism in the past, but to notch 100 Premier League goals is no mean feat. A top player who’s had a terrific career.
