Dean Henderson

Forest can come away from yesterday’s match against Spurs with their heads held high. Harry Kane was the difference maker, but Dean Henderson won their individual battle when he saved Kane’s penalty. He’s clearly a great shot-stopper and is already looking like someone who is relishing a starting spot every week in the Premier League.

Trent Alexander-Arnold

In a game where Liverpool tormented Bournemouth, Trent looked like he enjoyed every minute. He played so many inch-perfect diagonals, just brilliant going forward. And he got his goal as well. In that form, he’d cause any side in world football problems.

Lisandro Martinez

I like the look of Martinez. People always mention his height, but I can’t remember him losing one aerial battle during the game. He was great on the deck as well. He won every challenge and was fantastic at breaking up play. A real eye-catching performance.

Conor Coady

He had another decent game in an Everton shirt but will feel disappointed that his side couldn’t hold on for all three points. His ball over the top for Gordon’s opener was exceptional. He looks like a decent acquisition for Frank Lampard’s men.

Konstantinos Tsimikas

He only came on for the last 20 minutes or so, but I was really impressed with Konstantinos Tsimikas. His one-touch assist for Carvalho’s goal was really clever. It’ll be interesting to see if he can push to feature more in the Liverpool team this season.

Declan Rice

That was a terrific three points won on the road for the Hammers. A real smash and grab victory. Declan Rice, once again, was at the heartbeat of everything for the Hammers. He’s a brilliant player. I can see this being a huge season for him.

Pascal Gross

Ever reliable in midfield, I really like how this lad goes about his business. His deliveries from set pieces are tremendous, and is a great finisher, especially under pressure. He took his goal so well. He’s a great fit for this Brighton team.

Martin Ødegaard

This lad can’t stop scoring! He’s a technically gifted footballer, and I just love his late runs into the box. If he can keep up this form, he’s going to have a huge season in the Gunners’ shirt.

Erling Haaland

What about this lad? He’s got the lot. Whether it’s in the air, on the ground or otherwise, you expect him to score. He got his hat trick on Saturday and there is certainly more to come from him, that’s for sure. Those three goals earn him Star Man status this week.

Roberto Firmino

As far as long days go, that must’ve been right up there for Bournemouth. Liverpool were simply ruthless, and Bobby Firmino led from the front. He got a fantastic double and looked hungry for more just before he came off after around 70minutes.

Allan Saint-Maximin

This lad can play. He was magnificent against City last week, so I wasn’t surprised to see him get his goal here, although the fashion he did it in was simply outrageous. What a hit! And he made it look easy. I can’t wait to see more for him this season. He’s really hitting another level at the moment.
