This years FA Cup final is set to be contested by two sides that have shared similar fortunes in the Premier League this season. Chelsea and Leicester have been in and around the top four for most of the campaign, so for the neutral at least, this should be an entertaining final between two quality sides.
On recent form, there’s no doubt that Chelsea are worthy favourites. Despite losing against Arsenal midweek, Thomas Tuchel has worked wonders since taking over from Frank Lampard, with this match the first of two gigantic matches for the Blues this month.
For Leicester, their win against an under strength Manchester United ended a two-game winless streak, so that will have done their confidence no harm at all.
I don’t see much between these two. Chelsea will have to be wary of Leicester on the counter, however, their experience of managing big games, especially in Europe, will be crucial here.
As I said, it could be tight, but I do believe it will be the Blues from London that will lift the trophy.
