Southampton 2-1 Brentford
Southampton v Brentford
There’s only a couple of points between them in the table, so I’m expecting an even game here. Southampton don’t lose many games, with just one loss in six, but they’ve won just once in that time. Draws have been the story of their season, if they can covert some into wins, they’ll quickly move up the table. I like the look of Broja up top, he’s been a real positive for them this season.
Brentford’s last game was that win over Villa. It was an impressive win for them and they have shown that they are a dangerous side at home. It’s been a fantastic start to the season for them.
I think the odd goal might win this. I can see Brentford getting a goal but Southampton getting the win. 2-1 Southampton.
West Ham 3-1 Norwich
West Ham v Norwich
After a few slip-ups, West Ham have found their best form again on their travels. They’ve won away to Watford and Crystal Palace, scoring seven goals in the process. The likes of Bowen and Lanzini are in good form, and they’ll like their chances of scoring back on their home ground.
December was a bitterly disappointing month for Norwich. 5 defeats, 13 goals conceded, and none scored. Things aren’t looking good. Dean Smith will be desperate to get some new players in.
This should be a comfortable win for West Ham. They’ve been in good goalscoring form, and I can see them adding a few goals here. 3-1 West Ham.
