Ben Foster
He’s like a fine wine! Another great point for Watford at the weekend and it was well deserved. Ben wasn’t the busiest he’s ever been, that’s why his one-on-one save against Bruno Fernandes was all the more impressive. Top marks again.
Matt Targett
That was a big win for Newcastle. Eddie Howe loves to see his full backs getting forward, and they certainly did that against Brentford. Targett was a constant nuisance, and his defending was top-class.
Craig Cathcart
The Northern Irishman gets into the team for the second week in a row. To come away from Old Trafford with a clean sheet, you must be on your game for every minute. He certainly was, and if this form continues, he could catch the eye of teams at the top end of the Premier League table.
Fabian Schar
He’s played every minute in Newcastle’s 7-game unbeaten run. That’s some stat in anyone’s book. I have to say I’m a big fan, and I don’t think he’s been spoken about enough. Another solid display again at the weekend, more than enough to earn his place this week.
Matt Doherty
A goal and an assist for this man against Leeds at the weekend. Spurs were at their very best, and when Doherty’s on form with the likes of Kane and Son, they cause any team problems.
John McGinn
The Scotsman covered every blade of grass at the Amex. That’s the kind of performance you need from your midfielders away from home in the Premier League. He’s someone I just love watching.
Joe Willock
What a run this has been for Newcastle. They had this one wrapped up a half-time after Joe Willock’s superb goal just before the break. He’s thriving under Eddie Howe and seems to suit this new system perfectly.
Declan Rice
How many times has this lad featured in the Team of the Week? Another dominant performance from the midfielder in the Hammers’ win at home to Wolves. Wolves are one of the most organised sides in the league, so that was a great result. Rice was at the heartbeat of everything, he reads the game so well. What a future he has.
Michael Olise
Olise was on top form against Burnley, getting an assist for the opener early doors. He caused the visitor’s problems all afternoon and will feel unlucky to just take a point a Selhurst Park.
Harry Kane
He looks back to his best! A goal and an assist on the day, he looked lively throughout. His partnership with Son is incredible, they’re perfect together and will go down as one of the best in the Premier League era.
Dejan Kulusevski
This lad can play! A constant threat all afternoon and got his goal after just 15 minutes. Spurs tend to blow hot and cold, but if he can keep this sort of form going, they’ll continue to improve.
