Bernd Leno - Arsenal

A clean sheet for Arsenal’s forgotten man in what was a terrific result at Villa Park. His late save from Philippe Coutinho’s free kick was crucial, and you could see at the end how much it meant to the players.

Kieran Tierney - Arsenal

Tierney is becoming a Rolls Royce at the back for the Gunners. They defended well all afternoon, and his runs up and down the flank kept Villa occupied throughout the 90 minutes.

Luke Ayling - Leeds

What a result this was for Leeds. It was great to watch, and I can see some improvement in Leeds over the past few weeks. Luke Ayling doesn’t get many, but when he does, they are spectacular, and his late winner here was no different.

Ben White - Arsenal

He’s settled into his role at Arsenal. You can see what Arteta is trying to do there. His whole backline are comfortable on the ball, and in White, they have someone that isn’t only a great passer, but an excellent defender as well.

Timothy Castagne - Leicester

Brendan Rodgers must be delighted to have this lad back fit. The Belgian was excellent in this one, deserving of a standing ovation when he came off just after the hour mark. One goal and overall excellent performance, great to see.

Bukayo Saka - Arsenal

This lad is something special. Man of the match in this one for me. He got his goal, but his work rate was superb. He could be a key man for Gareth Southgate this November.

James Maddison - Leicester

James has been going well for months now. His goal return is fantastic, and if he can just keep injury free, who knows, maybe he can sneak into the squad for Qatar.

Rodrigo Bentancur - Tottenham

Spurs ran the legs off West Ham on Sunday. But it was this man that I thought played the most crucial role. Constantly breaking up play and keeping the ball, he’s exactly the type of player Spurs need just now.

Rodrigo - Leeds

He had a huge 59 touches of the ball in Leeds’ win at Wolves. One of them, crucially, was his goal which he took well. He’s a big part of what Leeds are about going forward, and it was great to see them get back to winning ways and put some daylight between themselves and those below.

Son - Tottenham (Star Man)

Another magnificent performance from the South Korean genius. Two goals on an afternoon when he caused West Ham so many problems, he was unplayable. He’s my star man this week.

Kane - Tottenham

Not for the first time, I have Harry leading the line. This week, he turned provider with his two assists for Son’s goals. What a partnership they are, arguably the best in the Premier League era.
