Watford v Arsenal Preview: Richarlison to Shine3 min read
Arsenal are the visitors to Vicarage Road at the weekend and, surprisingly for a side with such a vast array of attacking talent in their ranks, the Gunners are yet to score a goal in the Premier League away from the Emirates.
That said Watford have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last ten games against Arsenal – a run that goes all the way back to April 1998 when Tony Coton kept goal in a 1-0 win.
The Hornets are yet to win in front of their home supporters so far this term and are 22/5 to take all three points against Arsene Wenger’s side with the Gunners and the draw at .
Writing in his BetVictor blog Michael Owen, who makes no secret of the fact that he is a big admirer of Marco Silva’s Watford, suggests the Hornet’s will either win or draw against the Gunners which is a shot in the Double Chance market.
It has not been a great couple of months for Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez who, allegedly, wanted to join Manchester City in the summer transfer window. A free agent in the summer he will be able to take plenty of time to negotiate a deal with a new club given he will have the summer off as Chile failed to qualify for Russia 2018 as a result of their 3-0 defeat to Brazil in South American qualification midweek.
Brazilian under 20 international Richarlison has been outstanding for the Hornets so far this season but he remains a big price to make the squad for Russia, such is the strength in depth of the five-time winners. Gareth Southgate can only look on with envy.

Richarlison is to open the scoring and 9/4 to find the back of Petr Cech’s net at the weekend. He looks a very special player and is to be named Young Player of the Year. If he played for a more fashionable club, he would be half that price.
