It’s been the talk of the town all day.
Everyone thought it was a matter of when, not if, Chelsea would re-sign Everton striker Romelu Lukaku.

But a twist in the tale happened this morning – when it emerged that Chelsea’s Premier League rivals Manchester United had apparently seen a bid accepted for the front man.
Yet, it was then reported that a source close to the Toffees claimed that no deal had been done.
