How Twitter reacted to Deadline Day Eve

It’s the day before transfer deadline day – so it’s only natural that it should be called deadline day eve. We’ve taken a look at how the wonderful world of Twitter has reacted to the trending transfer topics.
The Ox says no to Chelsea & is angling for Anfield
Should Oxlade-Chamberlain agree terms, he would be the club's second highest earner, only behind record signing Alexandre Lacazette. #afc pic.twitter.com/yd7DxgHk7q

For midfielder/winger/wing-back Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, it’s not all about the money.
It would seem that he wants to get away from the Emirates (who doesn’t, at the moment?) and join a club that will play him in central midfield – his favourite position.
The player’s indecision in front of goal – just 9 Premier League goals in over 150 matches for Arsenal – seems to be matched by fans’ less-than-certain opinion over his ability.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been in the Premier League for about 6 years now, and I've got absolutely no idea if he's any good or not.

The England man has been offered the chance to join the Premier League Champions, but is holding out for a move to the club that he supports – Liverpool.

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words – and judging from the above tweets, Sanchez probably doesn’t have a single positive word to say about his current club Arsenal at the moment.

Scarred by previous departures of important players to Premier League rivals – see Robin Van Persie to Manchester United and Samir Nasri & Emmanuel Adebayor to Manchester City – it seems that Arsene Wenger is determined to dig his heels in over the Chilean international.

Apparently, Arsenal will only be content with getting rid of Sanchez if it means bringing in one of the best strikers in the Premier League.

Sergio Aguero remains to join Arsenal

One of the stars of AS Monaco’s title-winning side could be about to make the move to England. The talented midfielder is wanted by a host of clubs, and it’s easy to see why.
Thomas Lemar’s 2016/17 Ligue 1 season by numbers:
84% pass accuracy
72 chances created
45 take-ons completed
10 assists
9 goals— Squawka Football (@Squawka) August 28, 2017
With Naby Keita already confirmed for the 2018/19 season, Liverpool’s could be about to become even stronger in the middle of the park.

Barkley looks to have no future at Everton
Ronald Koeman says he "isn't confident" of keeping hold of Ross Barkley. ?

This one’s been rumbling on for a while. Koeman clearly doesn’t have the patience to put up with Barkley, and wants to get rid of the talented, yet inconsistent, youngster.

Links with Spurs have been rumbling on throughout the window. Yet Barkley is demanding £120,000 per week, a figure which the North London club look unlikely to meet.

After seemingly missing out on Oxlade-Chamberlain, Chelsea are the latest club to be credited with an interest in Barkley.
Conte could help revive his stagnating career – and it would help Chelsea to add a homegrown player to their squad.

Barkley is to join Chelsea
