Croatia’s last-minute winner from defender Tin Jedvaj – his second goal of the game - against Spain on Thursday has set up a winner takes all clash with England at Wembley on Sunday afternoon. This will be the 10th meeting between the nations with the Three Lions winning four to Croatia’s three prior to kick-off although the visitors are unbeaten in their last three against England. England will finish top of their Nations League group with a win – finish bottom and be relegated if they lose or the game finishes in a score draw - and finish second and avoid the drop if the tie finishes in a goalless draw. Got that! England have lost just two of their last 27 games on home soil and I feel they will edge what promises to be a cracking game. We all had our doubts and misgivings about how the Nations League would be received but, one thing’s for sure, this will be no meaningless friendly. Harry Kane has failed to score in his last seven internationals – his longest goalless drought in an England shirt but he had two assists in Spain and I expect to see a big game from the England skipper Tip: England to win and both teams to score
