A busy week at Galway for BetVictor ambassador Rachael Blackmore continues with four rides today, she gives us the lowdown on her rides and their chances.
Guinness Galway Tribes Handicap Hurdle (17:45)
My night gets started on Rasiym for Edward O’Grady in this handicap hurdle. He was a nice winner last time out when Paul Townend rode him at Kilbegan, Paul switches back to ride for Willie on the favourite Fan De Blues. I am delighted to have picked up the ride, he has gone up ten pounds for the win but I would be hopeful of another big run from him here. The yard look to be in good form and I enjoyed some success riding for them last week at Cork on Act Of God.
My Sister Sarah
Guinness Handicap Hurdle (18:15)
Willie Mullins runs seven here and I am delighted to be on My Sister Sarah for him here, she had her first run since the lockdown here earlier in the week when finishing fifth on the flat having run a nice race. This race looks pretty warm and I am pleased to be taking the ride on one of Willies, he is having a good week so far at Galway.
Arthur Guinness Chase (19:15)
Next up is Sub Lieutenant who has run in plenty of big races down the years, he ran an okay race here earlier in the week when contesting the ultra-competitive Galway Plate, he is a course winner and it would be no surprise to see him run a big race if he takes his chance here.
Guinness Galway Blazers Handicap Chase (19:45)
My final ride of the night comes on Mr Diablo who has had just the one run since the restart at Killarney on the flat. The recent and expected rain will help his chances and I am looking forward to riding in this typically competitive Galway handicap.
