After going close twice yesterday at Newmarket, I am off to Lingfield for five rides on the all-weather starting later this afternoon.
Lingfield (Friday, 16.25)
Just Glamorous is my first ride for trainer Christopher Mason. She is a consistent filly with a run under her belt already this season where she finished third at Kempton.
She ran a great race there, so hopefully can come forward again and go close here over the five furlongs.
Lingfield (Friday, 18.05)
Balavad is my next ride for Jamie Osborne. He heads for his third run after an improved effort last time out when stepping up in trip and wearing a visor at Kempton. Fingers crossed he can improve again here.
Lingfield (Friday, 19.05)
My third ride on the card is Levanter for Harry Dunlop. She made an encouraging handicap debut in December at Wolverhampton.
She’s having her first start of the season, so I look forward to finding out more about her here.
Lingfield (Friday, 19.35)
Diva Kareem for George Baker has a run under her belt, having ran over 7f at Yarmouth earlier in June. She takes a big step up in trip this time to 1m2 and has ran well in the past in maidens, so hopefully she will see the trip out well.
Lingfield (Friday, 20.05)
My final ride of the night is Turnbury for Nikki Evans in the last race over 1m4. He’s been on a bit of a losing streak but hopefully with a break from racing, he will come back refreshed like the rest of us!
