Wednesday’s racing comes from Huntingdon, Nottingham, Bangor-On-Dee, Punchestown and Kempton. Whilst the domestic action catches the eye, the count down to the Arc is well and truly on. Heroine Enable currently heads the market at 6/4.
As novice hurdle races go, this two-mile race at Huntingdon looks slightly below average. That said, it does present Kim Bailey with a great chance to score a win with his Irish import Ajero.
He arrives with just the one run to his name which was a decent 3rd in a bumper at Thurles for Thomas Mullins.
The 4th and 2nd in that race have gone on to win decent events. The yard and new owners had great success buying out of Thomas Mullins stable previously with the talented Charbel, and this horse looks another nice buy that can give his connections plenty of fun.
