It’s been a good Ebor Festival for Sam Boswell and he returns with his picks for day three at York.
Mo To Come In Nunthorpe
The Nunthorpe has a real international flavour with the Goodwood winner Suesa from France facing down the American favourite Golden Pal (11/4).
Trainer Wes Ward has hit the cross bar on a couple of occasions in this race and I think the three year old by Uncle Mo can give Ward a win in the five furlong sprint.
He has reportedly travelled over well and his recent US win at Saratoga was as impressive as they come, you can expect him to burn many off at the start and I think he will put in a bit performance on the Knavesmire.
A big well done to our Brand Ambassador @themichaelowen and his fellow owners.

Wake Up And Smell La Rosa
The one mile two furlong handicap, as do most handicaps at York, looks a tricky puzzle but I am keen to have a play on the William Haggis trained Sea La Rosa (10/3), who is a filly by Sea The Stars that may just be ahead of her mark of 85.
A small field win at Redcar may not scream amazing form to bring into a race of this nature but in the hands of the Haggis team I think their is plenty to like.
The surface will suit and the yard are operating at close to a 30% strike rate currently.
