Friday, Nicola Currie heads to Lingfield for four rides as her busy Flat season continues. She shares her views on those rides with us.
Lingfield (Friday, 16.25)
My first ride on Friday is Ravenous for Luke Dace in the one mile six handicap. He is a horse I was lucky to win on back in 2018 over this trip at Salisbury.
He is a very straight forward horse and stepping back up in trip today to a distance he’s proven to stay at will help. Hopefully, he can come on from his last run and be involved at the finish.
Lingfield (Friday, 17.30)
My second ride on the card is Alone Time for Jamie Osborne. She is having her first career start over the extended six furlongs. She’s a well-bred by Mehmas and a first season sire plenty are excited about.
She has shown plenty of speed at home and I’m sure will improve from a run.
Lingfield (Friday, 18.00)
My next ride on the card is the appropriately named Friday Fizz for Mark Loughnane. She’s a lightly-raced Kodiac filly, dropping back to six furlongs after running over seven last time out.
She has shown some decent form but can be inconsistent. Hopefully, conditions today suit and we can find improvement.
Mr Beau Blue
Lingfield (Friday, 19.00)
My final ride of the day will be Mr Beau Blue for Jamie Osborne. This is just his second career start and first time on the turf.
He ran a nice race last time here at Lingfield on the all-weather surface, doing his best bit over the line. He should improve for the run and be competitive in a race of this nature today.
