BetVictor Brand Ambassador Rachael Blackmore is in top form. The jockey was successful aboard the impressive Mengli Khan at Ballonrobe on Sunday before backing it up with a win on 12/1 chance Flirting Lesa at Galway on Monday.

Rachael has another busy week ahead as she picks up 4 rides at Punchestown. We caught up with her ahead of it all  exclusively for the BetVictor blog.

Punchestown

Reddiac (13.15)

8/1

My first ride at Punchestown is on Reddiac (13.15) for Henry. This will be his first run over hurdles. He was a 3rd on the flat at Leopardstown the last day where he ran well. He seems a very laid back type and is schooling well at home. I’m really looking forward to partnering him here, and we’re hoping he can get off the mark.

Supreme Vinnie (14.15)

My next ride at Punchestown is on Supreme Vinnie (14.15) for Denise O’Shea. He’s been a very good horse to me. I won my first graded winner with him and my first win on the flat! He won’t want to see any rain coming, so let’s hope the forecast of dry ground is correct. If that’s the case, he should run well.

Desert Island (15.20)

6/1

Next at Punchestown I am with Desert Island (15.20) for John Halley. He was 2nd to Skyace at Tipperary on his first start over hurdles. The winner went on to improve again, so that’s a definite positive. This will be my first time riding him, and it’s one I’m really looking forward to.

Ellie Mac (15.50)

I partner Ellie Mac (15.50) in the handicap hurdle for Henry. She’s well capable and despite her form being a little bit inconsistent, if she’s at the top of her game, she won’t be too far away.
