Yesterday we learned that Love won’t be heading to the Arc. With ground conditions set to be less than ideal for the star 3-year-old filly, she avoids making the trip to France. This leaves Enable heading the betting as the 6/5 favourite. BetVictor are now non-runner for bet on the great race.
Today’s NAP comes from Gowran Park, where BetVictor ambassador Rachael Blackmore has a number of rides, which you can read about here. However, the tip today comes in the finale, which Rachael won’t be in.
Purple Mountain (17.30)
This race is always worth getting the notebook out for. Last year, Gordon Elliott claimed victory with the impressive Bigbadandbeautiful. Sheer Liss represents that combo this year and has run two nice races in bumpers before joining the Elliott team last month.
My selection, however, is his big rival and current Champion jumps trainer Willie Mullins. The Clossuton handler has struck gold 3 times in the last 5 years in this race and has just one representative in Purple Mountain. The 5 year old by Beat Hollow stayed on nicely to win on his second start despite some issues in running. The way he stayed on in similar going to today has me convinced he can improve again to land another winner in the race for team Mullins.
