It was great to notch another win on Monday in the last on Voice Of Calm at Lingfield. I had gone close twice earlier in the card and the filly moved really nicely for Harry Dunlop in the closing handicap.
Fingers crossed we can add to that with my rides over the next couple of days.
Kempton (Wednesday, 17.00)
My first ride will be Balavad. He had his first start last week at the same track over 6f. He was outpaced and green but having a run under his belt now and the step up to 7f, we would hope to see a lot of improvement.
Kempton (Wednesday, 19.00)
Next up is Sposabella for Hughie Morrison. She is having her first career start here over 1m2.
She’s a 3yr old filly by Ravens Pass and has plenty of stamina in her pedigree.
Three Little Birds
Kempton (Wednesday, 20.30)
My final ride at Kempton is Three Little Birds for Silvester Kirk. She steps back up to six furlongs today.
I won on this filly in 2018 at Bath and remember her great attitude. It’s her first try at this track but with a great draw, we hope she will have every chance to see out the trip.
Yarmouth (Thursday, 18.00)
I head to Yarmouth for Nurse Florence, trained by Jamie Osborne. She runs in the five-furlong maiden and is an unraced 2yr old by Gutaifan.
I rode her full sister last year who showed lots of speed early and this filly has shown the same.
