Willie McCreery and Nathan Crosse have teamed up for two wins with Nikeandnemesis, and the stoutly-bred filly is only getting better, so the hat-trick beckons

No Needs Never can add to his win in the Star Appeal Stakes, and looks well up to Group standard based on his Dundalk effort, where he knuckled down well to lower the colours of the promising Old Glory, who reopposes again, and could be his main danger once more. Joseph O’Brien’s charge can carry his head a little high, but it didn’t seem to affect his resolution last time, and many perfectly genuine horses do the same, purely by physiological need.
