Fresh from success on Balinaboola Steel at Wexford on Wednesday, BetVictor Brand Ambassador Rachael Blackmore has three rides at Sligo on Friday. Once again, we caught up with the in-form jockey as she speaks exclusively to the BetVictor blog.
I start the day aboard Bobby Boy for Andrew McNamara. He was disappointing last time out at Cork when he didn’t see out the race, so hopefully we can draw a line through that. Andrew is happy with him at home and Sligo should suit, so I’m positive that if he puts his best foot forward, he can run a much better race here.
Next up, I partner Third Avenue for John McConnell. John’s horses are running very well at the moment, having had a winner at Sligo on Wednesday. This will be my first time teaming up with Third Avenue, so I’m hoping he can continue with the yards good run of form.
Finally, I take the ride on Universal Focus for Ross O’Sullivan. He ran a lovely race on the last day at Leopardstown, where he stayed on very well to the line. Let’s hope he can continue on his upward curve around Sligo. If he can put it all together, hopefully he won’t be too far away.
