BetVictor Ambassador Nicola Currie has a busy book of rides over the next few days and has taken the time to exclusively share her thoughts with us ahead of the action.

Before we get onto my upcoming rides It was fantastic to get off the mark at Kempton Wednesday with Hieronymous for George Baker, fingers crossed it is the first of many this season.

Thursday

Today I head to Newmarket for their first turf meeting of the season.

The Chain

Newmarket (4.10)

My first ride will be on newcomer The Chain, a Coulsty filly trained by Jamie Osborne. She’s a nice type and has shown sharpness at home, so I’m looking forward to seeing what she will show on the track.

Lyndon B

Newmarket (5.55)

My second ride is Lyndon B, again for Jamie. It will be his first run for us having previously been trained by George Scott. Most recently he spent his winter running in Dubai, so we are still learning about the horse, but the ground and trip should suit here.

I head to Lingfield on Friday.

Hot Scoop

Lingfield (12.55)

My first ride will be Hot Scoop for Jamie. He is a Hot Streak colt and is a lovely type who has shown us promise at home, so again, we are hopeful of his chances.

Cotopaxi

Lingfield (1.30)

In the second division of the six furlong maiden auction I ride Cotopaxi who is a Sir Prancelot colt. He seems sharp and has a good attitude, so all being well, we’re optimistic he’ll run well.

Muraahin

Lingfield (4.25)

Muraahin is my third and final ride in the handicap over one mile. He’s a very lightly raced 5 year old and has had a long layoff. However, we try him over a mile for the first time, so he can only come on for the run. He’s been well at home and we’re hoping there’s more to come from him.
