Eight races from Leopardstown on Sunday and BetVictor Brand Ambassador Rachael Blackmore has rides in seven of them, including all four Grade 1s.

Ellie Mac - Mares Handicap Hurdle (12:55)

The first race on Sunday is the Mares Handicap Hurdle (12:55) and I ride Ellie Mac in this. She likes it at Leopardstown and she’s won around here before. She didn’t run too badly over Christmas, she ran better than her finishing position suggested, so she should run well and hopefully she can get into the shake-up.

Aspire Tower - Juvenile Hurdle (13:25)

The next race is the Juvenile Hurdle (13:25) and here I ride Aspire Tower and he’s obviously a very exciting horse to be involved with. He’s done everything right so far, and I’m very much looking forward to riding him. He looks like he has all the potential in the world at the moment, he was a course & distance winner here over Christmas and we’re back again on today.

Jason The Militant - Novice Hurdle at 13:55

Next, we move on to the Novice Hurdle at 13:55 and here I have Jason The Militant for Henry again. He won at Limerick over Christmas on very heavy ground, he really battled well that day. I think this race looks competitive without there being any major standout runners so I’m hoping he won’t be too far away.

Stacks Mountain - 3-mile Handicap Hurdle (14:30)

Next is the 3-mile Handicap Hurdle (14:30) and I’m on Stacks Mountain in this. He was a good 3rd over course & distance here at Christmas, the ground and trip should suit and I think he’s definitely one to keep an eye on.

Dommage Pour Toi - Floggas Novice Chase at 15:00

Then we move on to the Floggas Novice Chase at 15:00 and I have Dommage Pour Toi in this. We see Faugheen and Battleoverdoyen go to battle here, so it’s extremely competitive and Dommage will definitely have to improve on what he’s done. But I feel like we haven’t seen the best of him over fences yet, there’s a lot of potential there so hopefully, he can run well.

Jett - Gold Cup (15:30)

Then we go on to the Gold Cup (15:30) where I ride Jett for Jessie Harrington. It’s great to pick up a ride in this, it also looks very competitive but you could probably say that about every race at Leopardstown! Jett has to improve on his run here over Christmas but he’s in very good hands and I’m looking forward to the ride.

Trainwreck - Handicap Hurdle (16:00)

My last one then is Trainwreck in the 16:00 Handicap Hurdle. I felt that on the last day, maybe 2 miles was on the short side for him, so I’m hoping the step up in trip here can help his jumping.
