After a brilliant grade one double at the Dublin Racing Festival, BetVictor Brand Ambassador, Rachael Blackmore has another exciting book of rides over Saturday & Sunday.

“It was a big weekend and to win the Irish Champion Hurdle with Honeysuckle was very special. I managed to have further success when partnering Whatsnottoknow to victory at Thurles for Mouse Morris midweek. I’ve been second on the horse twice, so it was great to see him get his head in front.

I ride Mount Hanover in the Handicap Chase at Naas. He didn’t jump as well as he can at Cork last day, however, he seems to be very well in himself at the moment, so we’re expecting him to put up a much better display here. He will have his day eventually, and if the rain keeps coming, he could go very close.

At Punchestown, I partner Cavalry Master in the Novice Hurdle for Henry. He was very good in his Maiden Hurdle, although he was a little disappointing over Christmas, however, he’s doing very well at home and is a very nice type, so we’re positive about his chances going into this.

Dunvegan is the joint highest rated in the race. He’s a very nice horse to pick up the ride on, although in unfortunate circumstances with Jack Kennedy on the side-lines. He was 3rd last time out to Cash Back and finished just behind Zero Ten. I’m very much looking forward to riding him and feel he very much has a live chance.

Finally, in the Grand National trial, I am aboard Cheb De Kerviniou for Simon Munir & Isaac Souede. He was 3rd last time out when Patrick Mullins rode him at Punchestown. He’s a real stayer, and with only 10 stone on his back, I can’t see him being too far away.”
