Brand Ambassador Rachael Blackmore heads back to Tramore for another four rides on Sunday, looking to build on her success at the course yesterday.
It was brilliant to ride a treble at Tramore yesterday to keep things ticking over ahead of the upcoming jockeys break. It is a great idea to give jump jockeys a good chance to recharge their batteries before we continue with the busy horse racing summer season.
My day gets started with Tisadream in the maiden hurdle for Henry. She took a step forward with her recent run at Killbeggan and a replication of that run here should have her involved at the finish today.
Next up I take the ride on Eaton Lady for Kate McGivern, this is her first runner under rules, she has been running a successful breeze up business in Wexford and has now made the jump to take out her licence. She is a good friend and I would love to get her career off to a great start, the horse is making its handicap debut and has had a good break since last been seen at Navan, she is by Presenting so better ground should be of help here.
She Tops The Lot
My third ride of the day is on She Tops The Lot in a Mares Beginners Chase, she ran a nice debut over fences at Ballinrobe and really seemed to take to jumping. This looks a warm enough race for the time of year and Lady Breffni of Willie Mullins will be the one we all have to get the better of based on her form plus Havingagoodtime of Henry’s could well run a big race too.
The Cool Dude
The final ride for me on Saturday is for Shark Hanlon on The Cool Dude, he was a winner over further at Wexford in April, since then he has finished fifth and pulled up at Downpatrick last month, he is going to need to bounce back to be in the shake up off a mark of 95 here.
