It’s a big day for BetVictor ambassador Rachael Blackmore as she once again teams up with the unbeaten Honeysuckle at the Punchestown Festival. We caught up with her to get her views on all three of her mounts today.
Punchestown - 16:15
My first ride comes on Gabbys Cross in the two-mile five novice handicap chase, as you would expect for the Punchestown Festival this looks a competitive field with plenty you can make strong cases for. He won nicely at Naas and has gone up eight pounds for that win on his first handicap chase start. He is well at home and can hopefully run a nice race for his owners who had a winner this week with the Tag Man claiming the bumper yesterday in good fashion.
Punchestown - 17:25
Next up is Honeysuckle, as you can expect I am really looking forward to riding her once again! She seems in great form at home since winning the Champion Hurdle again at the Festival in March. Everyone in the team seems happy with her ahead of this run, she has just been incredible in what she has achieved so far. Fingers crossed today goes well and we can add another win to her tally.
Watch House Cross
Punchestown - 19:10
Finally my last ride of the day comes on Watch House Cross, he was just a shade to keen at Leopardstown the last day, if he settles better today he should give a much better account of himself and be in the mix.
