BetVictor are sponsoring three races at the re-arranged Navan fixture on Tuesday. Brand ambassador Rachael Blackmore has four rides coming up and she’s here to give us the lowdown on each of them.

Music Of Tara

Navan - 13:10

Music Of Tara in the maiden hurdle is my first, a winner of a point to point at Monkgrange she had her first run for us at Leopardstown over Christmas we were very happy with that run given she was only beat about six lengths that day. We are hopeful she can take another step forward here, she is a lovely mare who will have benefited from that first run over hurdles.

Brampton Belle

Navan - 13:45

Next up is Brampton Belle in the novice hurdle named after the brilliant Apples Jade; she was a good winner of a maiden hurdle at Tramore in December, the second that day Mi Lighthouse has won since. She just didn’t seem to perform at Limerick over Christmas but has been in good form at home since. She gets seven pounds on Lunar Display who looks the biggest danger.

We then have the Boyne Hurdle where I am riding Gentlemansgame for Mouse Morris. He was very disappointing at Gowran the last day, nothing really seemed to surface to explain that run. He will have cheekpieces and a tongue tie for the first time, hopefully that can bring about some improvement. I know he is a much better horse than what he showed on that last run, hopefully he can show us more of his previous form here.

Lieutenant Command

Navan - 16:05

Finally, I am on Lieutenant Command for Noel Meade in the Grade Two novice chase. He won his Beginners chase nicely at Fairyhouse back in November before running in a grade one at Limerick over Christmas and then ran in the Grade Three that Bob Olinger won at Punchestown in January. On ratings, he has a bit to find here with some of the others but hopefully he can run a good race.
