BetVictor Brand Ambassador Rachael Blackmore has two rides on the BetVictor sponsored card Saturday at Punchestown. She chats about her races and reflects on her stunning sit which secured Gin On Lime a win at Cheltenham.

Hurricane Cliff

Then we are onto Hurricane Cliff in the rated hurdle, he won his maiden back at Naas in February after a couple of fair runs prior to that over hurdles. He was a bit disappointing at the big Fairyhouse meeting at Easter on his final start of the season. He returns here having previously gone well fresh and I am looking forward to getting his season started.

Gateau De Miel

My final ride of the day is on Gateau De Miel in the three-mile handicap hurdle, he won the last day with Darragh O’Keefe on at Downpatrick. That was a maiden, and he arrives here for his first start in a handicap hurdle in good form with himself. With any big field handicap, we may need a little luck in running. Glenquin looks the most obvious danger having won five in a row.

Cheltenham Reflections

It was great to be back at Cheltenham and even better to come away with a winner in Gin On Lime. It was a very strange race; she had been going out a little to her right and jumping a tad low. We had struggled to get into much of a rhythm and it’s fair to say luck was on our side. I was delighted to see both Harry and My Drogo were fine after the race. Balko Des Flos ran a nice race to finish fifth in the cross-country giving weight to the entire field. I am sure he will continue to give his connections plenty of fun this season.
