BetVictor Brand Ambassador Rachael Blackmore is in the saddle with four rides at Cork on Saturday and one more from Naas on Sunday. She’s kindly given us her thoughts on their prospects.

Act Of God

My first ride is on Act Of God in the 12:20 Novice Hurdle for Edward O’Grady. I won a flat race on him in Tramore, and he has also gone well on testing ground in France so that’s a plus. He won his maiden hurdle beating Razoul who went on to win the Lartigue Hurdle in Listowel. So there’s a lot in his favour and he definitely should be in the shake-up here.

Deal With It

My second ride is Deal With It for Gigginstown and Henry De Bromhead, in the 13:25. He hasn’t run in nearly a year, so whatever he does he’ll definitely come on from it. But the trip is ideal, the ground is ideal, he’s going very well at home so I’m very much looking forward to him getting back to the track.

Next up I ride Shakeytry for Edward O’Grady in the 14:30 Beginners ChaseThis is a restricted Beginners so it’s for horses who are rated 102 or less over hurdles. This lad is 97 so he’s at the upper end of the field. He fell the last day but he was 3rd behind Benefit Run in Thurles before that, so if you go back to that run he shouldn’t be too far away here.

Mount Hannover

My last run of the day is Mount Hannover for Henry in the 15:05 Handicap Chase. He had a great run the last day in Wexford so he should be very competitive if he turns up in the same form as that. He’s going very well at home and the more testing the ground is, the better it’ll suit him.On to Naas on Sunday where I just have the one ride in the 2 mile Maiden Hurdle (14:50). I ride a lovely horse sired by Jeremy called Bold Enough for Henry. He was 2nd in a point to point for Warren Ewing and looks to be a very nice horse at home, is schooling well. I’m very much looking forward to seeing him on the track and seeing what he can doBest of luck to Rachael and to all BetVictor customers this weekend.
