After a winner yesterday at Fairyhouse, BetVictor ambassador Rachael Blackmore has three more rides today at Punchestown including previous Cheltenham Festival winner Bob Olinger. We caught up with her to get the lowdown on the trio.
I get started in the Moscow Flyer which has an impressive list of previous winners with the likes of Douvan and Vautour just two that spring to mind. I ride Guily Billy who was disappointing on his first start over hurdles at Clonmel in October. He improved to win at Tramore impressively, this is better company again, but he seems well at home and we couldn’t have been happier with him the last day so we can’t wait to see what he can do here.
Next up is Bob Olinger he is an extremely exciting horse who has already given me some great days. I had to watch his first chase start this season from Haydock where I was over to ride A Plus Tard, he won under Darragh O’Keeffe at Gowran that day in nice style. Since that win, we have schooled him a few times and he did everything really well. I am really looking forward to him and hopefully he can put up a big performance.
My last ride of the day comes on My Uncas in the two mile six beginners chase he has schooled well at home; this will be his first run over fences which can hopefully bring about some improvement from his recent efforts over hurdles.
