Racing Thursday comes from Huntingdon where Jamie Snowden runs Pacify against Nicky Henderson’s hotshot Shishkin.
Coquelicot to win
As bumpers go, the 3/1 favourite at the time of writing looks to have a huge chance to make it back to back wins at Huntingdon. Trainer Antony Honeyball has had some season with his bumper squad and Coquelicot has delivered some nice results in junior bumpers last season, and improved to win first time out this season at Taunton.
That was a smart effort and today she can score once again.
French Dynamite to win
This has to rate as one of the better contests on any of the cards today. I tipped Belfast Banter last time out and he disappointed. He returns to action rather quickly but isn’t going to be the selection again today.
Market favourite at the time of writing is The Bosses Oscar. He has been a likeable horse for top trainer Gordon Elliott; he holds some potentially exciting entries and one would think a bold show here would book his place to Cheltenham in March. That said, his form is yet to really be as strong as favourite backers would like to see.
Blue Sari is yet to set the world alight and at the prices, it could be worth looking elsewhere. With that in mind, I am prepared to chance the unexposed French Dynamite of Mouse Morris.
A debut hurdle winner, he flopped behind Envoli Allen in a better race last time out, but he is well worth another go in first-time cheekpieces at 6/1.
