Wednesday saw the emergence of a potential Supreme winner as Siskin came home in impressive fashion. Flagged up yesterday as one to watch he rewarded those of you that followed winning at an SP of 7/4. He pulled cleared of the Ben Pauling trained Shakem Up’Arry who looks a very smart individual in his own right. We initially reacted by going 12/1 from 25/1 and saw interest at his reduced price. He is now 10/1 for the opening race of the Cheltenham Festival.

7/4

Almazhar Garde could well prove the value play in a tricky looking race to weigh up. The youngest in the field Charlie Longsdon’s horse looked impressive when scoring at Catterick last time out. The Getaway Star

Alan Swinbank Mares Open National Hunt Flat Race

This race is offering us a first with Champion Irish Trainer Willie Mullins sending his first runner to Market Rasen in Panic Attack. The unraced four year old is bound to be of interest in the market, she looks to be starting in a very warm race. The selection will be a different Irish raider in the form of The Getaway Star, the horse won her first two starts under rules at Fairyhouse and Cork before disappointing when supported to make it a third win in a good race at Gowran. Given a significant break since that day the yard have been in the winners recently and will be ridden by Tom Queally who is best known for his exploits with Frankel. Queally has been riding for his father over Christmas and could secure another winner today with The Getaway Star.
