Punchestown, Southwell and Musselburgh have survived the recent spell of bad weather and offer us racing action today. Before we look at a tip for today, I wanted to take the chance to look back at Tiger Roll’s return on Sunday at Navan.

A local hero, the two-time Grand National winner was subject of huge press attention in recent days with his mark of 171 prompting much debate about his likely participation come April.

Fully Charged – Each Way

Punchestown (15.20)

This rescheduled Grade Three offers the last real chance for a few with novice hurdle entries to enter the Cheltenham Festival picture.

Willie Mullins has a red hot favourite in Lord Royal. He was decisive at Clonmel in spite of some average jumping at times. For all he was a good winner at the prices, he may just be worth opposing with an each-way shout.

BetVictor ambassador Rachael Blackmore takes the ride on Limerick winner Fully Charged. That race perhaps looked a bit of an average maiden but the likely going will really suit this six-year-old point to point winner. A step up in trip is also a plus point for Henry De Bromheads horse. At 10/1, he can offer some each-way value in a fair looking race today.
