We have a busy day of flat racing at Pontefract, Ayr, Yarmouth, Nass and Chelmsford. Also, jumps fans have a sole card at Tramore to enjoy.
The return of fans has already had mixed news this week. Newmarket will host another test event, with 1,000 attendees set to go along to each day of the Cambridgeshire meeting. That was welcomed by the industry amidst concerns in Ireland over the future of some tracks, with the suggestion courses could be limited to a capacity of 500 for the next 6 months.
Ville De Grace
Yarmouth (16.10)
Ville De Grace is my selection from the Sir Michael Stoute stable. Her win at Kempton on debut came in impressive style. That said, the form of those in behind that day does not look great. However, I think the filly by Le Havre will improve again and will be even better over further in time.
She has to carry a penalty for that win. I do feel she should be up to carrying that in a field which features plenty who will be in need of their first start. Of those having their first start, the only one that catches the eye is the cheekily named William Haggis horse by Kodiac.
