Another busy day of racing as we head towards a huge weekend of racing with the Derby and Oaks fields looking great races, plus the return of Enable at Sandown on Sunday.
We are also now a huge FOUR places on the Derby market each way. For anyone that fancies taking on English King, the short price favourite looks an ideal play. We will have a big race preview for the Derby and Oaks later on in the week to try and find you the winners of the next two classics.
The Great Heir
Just the one fancy today and it comes from Doncaster. This handicap features plenty you can make a case for. The Great Heir for Kevin Ryan has, on paper, the look of a horse ready to strike. The four-year-old won a big-field valuable sales race here last season and since that day, he has run a few times and was subsequently gelded.
He ran no race at all when going off 5/2 to win on reappearance at Redcar earlier in the month. Whilst you need to have confidence he can bounce back from that subpar effort, I think off a mark of 88 he is worth chancing each way at 6/1 with four places up for grabs with ourselves today.
